Engage your guestsEncourage visitors to interact and contribute to your website by giving them their own space where they can pass on their experiences and knowledge to you and other users. Tibet Server Community Edition makes it possible for you to give site members full editing capabilities of their own pages, including the ability to choose personalized designs and which files to upload. Users can also be granted access to the communal platform functionality to integrate with their personalized pages. For example, articles posted on the site of one member may be combined with a discussion forum and a feedback request to engage the larger community. Knowledge inspires and regenerates knowledge!
Participation drives salesStudies show that e-commerce sites with opportunities for guests to engage through voting, competitions, reviews, forums and chat rooms have more loyal return users and guests that spend more time on their website. In addition, guests that are active in community-activities on e-commerce sites buy twice as much compared to visitors that are not engaged in the websites. Social networks strengthen commercial sites by encouraging visitor to stay longer and come back more often.

City Airline | Gothenburg airline growing with new consumer-oriented approachCity Airline operates direct flights from Gothenburg to over 20 destinations in Europe with ten own aircraft. In 2010, City Airline made a strategic shift from being focused on business destinations suited for industries in western Sweden such as Birmingham, Lyon and Manchester to offer an attractive set of destinations for leisure travelers such as Barcelona, Palma and Prague.
City Airline chose Tibet Server as a web platform to grow with in the long term. The first step was the integration with Amadeus booking system and launching a new website. Next, passengers were given the opportunity to manage reservations and get support from customer service. In the third step, the City Airline is able to run active campaigns targeted at consumers and businesses offerint special promotions and discounts.
Parallel to the development of the commercial site, City Airlines Operations Division has seen the improvements in efficiency and quality processes enabled through the distribution of controlled documents such as safety manuals, ground handling manuals and operational notices. This is realized using City Airline's new intranet Workspace where employees, suppliers and partners take advantage of an open and integrated process tool for controlled document distribution.
